The High Tech Campus Eindhoven (HTCE), originally started as the “Philips NatLab”, currently houses more than 140 companies and institutes and over 10,000 researchers.
Campus companies (a.o. Philips, NXP, IBM, Intel) strategically decide what knowledge, skills and R&D facilities they share in order to achieve their goals. For over 20 years, Deerns has been involved in the development and realisation of more than 12 greenfield facilities and over 8 major upgrade and renovation projects at the HTCE.
Over the last 20 years Deerns has been responsible for programming, design, procurement, tendering, consulting, commissioning, supervision an qualification for the facilities on the HTCE, which include 103 hectares and 45,000 m2 R&D facilities, labs, cleanrooms and a 20 MW ATES.
